Semi Finals and 5-8 rank games line up at Women's Asia Cup today

It's a big day at Women's Hockey Asia Cup 2009 in Bangkok.

Otherwise, an usual tournament with no major upsets, the 7th Women's Asia Cup 2009 will see India locking horns with South Korea and China with Japan.

Since the inception of Asia Cup in 1995, with 2004 the only exception, South Korea has always had a podium finish in all the rest 5 versions. So, let's see what happens today.

Here is the line up for the day:

13:00 (5th-8th Position Playoff) Malaysia v Hong Kong (Malaysia won 5-0)

15:00 (Medal Round) China v Japan (China won 1-0, qualifies for 2010 Women's Hockey World Cup in Rosario, Argentina)
15:30 (5th-8th Position Playoff) Kazakhstan v Singapore (Kazakhstan won 2-1)

17:30 (Medal Round) Korea v India(The winner will qualify for 2010 Women's Hockey World Cup in Rosario, Argentina) (India won 3-2 qualifies for 2010 Women's Hockey World Cup in Rosario, Argentina)
